Jannis Buschky will give a talk about the relationship between discourses of Indigenous vanishing and the invisibility of oil in John Joseph Mathews’s novel Sundown (1934) at the 2026 “Petrocultures: Situating Energy” conference at TU Dresden on August 28th.
