of Early Automobility

We were delighted to host a conference titled “Cultures of Automobility” at the University of Konstanz from October 10-12, 2024. We had over sixty participants from fifteen countries who discussed automobility from both historical and cultural perspectives over several days. Our keynote speakers were Lutz Koepnick (Vanderbilt University) and Stéphanie Ponsavady (Wesleyan University). You can download the full conference program here.
