The event features two hybrid keynote lectures open to everyone: Prof. Dr. Florian Sprenger on “Virtuelle Environments – Roboter als Umgebungsmaschinen” and Prof. Dr. Stephanie Zehnle on “‘Jungle Bells’: Ecology, Metallurgy and Secrecy in Colonial Sound History.”
The workshop is a collaboration between the department of American Studies (Prof. Dr. Timo Müller) and the department of History of Knowledge (Prof. Dr. Anne Kwaschik). As part of our OffRoad project, Gilberto Mazzoli and Jonathan Stafford will also present their research.
